Dog Attacked in Yard
Chiquita the Chihuahua recovers from an encounter with another dog.
Vet Bill: $1,636
Background
Linda always considered herself a cat person but when she saw the two-pound Chiquita at a breeder's convention, she couldn't resist. Linda decided to insure Chiquita with Embrace.
Then, little Chiquita was attacked by a dog in the pet sitter's backyard. She immediately went into shock and was taken to Banfield in Southlake, TX. They were able to stabilize Chiquita, and then Linda took her to an emergency vet, the Animal Emergency Hospital of North Texas. There she received stitches for the lacerations on the side of her face, and she was hospitalized for the night. Chiquita's vet bills for the attack came to around $1,700.
Chiquita recovered from the incident and lives happily with Linda, with no memory of that big, mean Blue Heeler.
