Australian Shepherd Suffers from Seizures
Cooper's chronic seizures send him to the vet regularly.
Vet Bill: $3,668
Background
Cooper's pet parent, Teresa B., adopted him as a puppy and, for a while, he was a pretty healthy guy. Then, 3 years later, Cooper experienced his first bout of seizures. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be a one-time occurrence.
Teresa shares more of Cooper's story:
"On a whim, after getting Cooper, an Australian Shepherd, I decided to sign up for Embrace. As it turns out, he has become not only the love of our life, but a bit high maintenance. Suddenly, he started having grand mal seizures. We rushed him to the emergency clinic after 3 in a row and the first thing they asked was how you are going to pay. Well, thank God, we had Embrace and we were able to say we will pay, no problem, and Embrace will help us.
Cooper had to be put on meds and now Embrace pays 80% after our $200 per year deductible. I had to take him to Auburn University this spring, which meant an MRI, spinal tap, and a hotel room for 2 nights. Buying this insurance has been the best purchase I have ever made. I know a lot of people would have had to give him up, but we could never do that. We are blessed to have Embrace and I tell everyone how wonderful you are. Cooper thanks you."
